Anthony martial ex-wife, Samantha Jacquelinet has revealed how Manchester United ruined their relationship.
Anthony martial who moved from AS Monaco has been accused of completely changing after moving to Old Trafford last summer. The 20-year-old left his quiet life in Monaco to the frenzy-nature of the Premier League.
Although Martial thrived on the pitch but his marriage with Samantha suffered due to a change in lifestyle and a massive rise in wages which subsequently led to their eventual separation.
Samantha revealed: “Everything changed. Footballers in England are like kings. They have so much money and attention it’s like they live in a different world. He was thrust into the limelight and it all just exploded. Young girls were throwing themselves at him.”
She then criticized the club for their failure to monitor their players’ personal lifestyle, she said: “I was told United was a family club but off the pitch he didn’t get any guidance. Manchester United have ruined my life. Neither of us were prepared for it at all. Everywhere we went people would stop Anthony for pictures and his Instagram followers rocketed to more than two million.”
“Other big clubs like to offer support to players in managing their social media but we were offered nothing. He was getting a dozen pictures a day on Instagram from girls. They sent sexy photos begging him to get in touch.”
She also revealed her unhappiness with Martial’s decision to pay her only £3,000 every month out of his monthly income of £420,000.
In earlier related events, Olivier Giroud’s wife had sounded out same claims of her husband as he was caught with a lady hours before a match for Arsenal.
